Anonymous asked: WOW, I just saw a racoon on my side porch. I had food out there for the cats and he was helping himself to it. It ran away when I opened the door. He wais a cute little guy. The racoon must be living in the blighted house next door. Any suggestions as to what to do? Does SPCA handle racoons?
A: According to this page on their website, SPCA does not trap or otherwise deal with wild animals (unless the animal is in distress). You can call LA Wildlife & Fisheries at 504-284-5269 for additional information on your raccoon issue.
