This sinkhole in the 4200 block of Vincennes — currently about 8 feet in circumference and 2 feet deep — continues to enlarge.  Nearby residents, who recently had to form an emergency rescue squad when a car backed into the sinkhole and got stuck, believe a subsurface leak is also causing their homes to subside.

S&WB is aware of the problem and initiated another work order on the morning of Tuesday, October 9.
