Bitten by a Dog—Twice!

My husband and I very much love animals. However, in the past month, two different neighborhood dogs have bitten him on two different occasions. Both times the dogs broke the skin, and today, the dog tore his jeans. My husband was doing nothing but walking. 

Please, if you know your dog has a tendency to nip or bite, you need to find a way to restrain him or her. Shorten the leash, muzzle your pet, make sure your fencing works. Though my husband is a big guy, we have many young children who live in this neighborhood, including our son. Even a small bite for an adult would be a big bite for a child, and also, probably more terrifying.
