NORA to demolish 3417 Calhoun
Back in May, 2011, NORA petitioned for 3417 Calhoun to be demolished. Facing no public opposition, a demo permit was ultimately issued in November. When asked, the Zoning Department could give no specific date on when (or if) demolition will take place.

For now, the building (former home of Mr. Joseph Ogden) sits idle, its brick porch and facade steadily crumbling. Entergy and S&WB have disconnected gas, electric and water service to the property as a precaution.
