More “Street Facts”

Of all the north-south streets in our neighborhood, Calhoun is both the widest (39’ at Claiborne) and the narrowest (16’ at Gen. Pershing)!  Here’s a breakdown of the rest:

 

Despite these major thoroughfares being in place for decades, the residential portion of Marlyville-Fontainebleau remained largely undeveloped until 1949. 

"Question: Why is our neighborhood website called “StateStreetDrive.com” when it serves so many other streets, too? Answer: Because SSD is the only one of them that runs all the way from Claiborne to Earhart!"
